I like to try and live an amicable.life.

Computer nerd(BraidedGoatee.com) and outdoor enthusiast (just don't count me in for hunting or fishing). Unfortunately, too often it's been too long since I've gone on a hike or gone camping. Love to garden (nothing beats eating straight from the garden while you are still in it) and landscape. I like to think I'm becoming pretty handy at a lot of things and can be pretty resourceful. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with technology. Want to assemble a dream team to build a non-combustion engine. I also occasionally like to write, but typically find my mind racing too fast to do so.

I grew up in an LDS house and while I support many of the LDS teachings I find some of them greatly lacking and some, I fear, may even be harmful. I call myself agnostic, meaning, you can neither prove nor disprove there is a God and by what is observable and there doesn't really seem to be any reason that one needs to believe there is or isn't any God(s). The believer doesn't magically have a better life for believing there is one. Though many religions do preach things that help people get along and therefore can benefit society. At the same time they may harm society with their teachings.

I don't conform to a lot of societal ways that may have come from Judeo-Christian or other religious beliefs. While I support the idea of people coming together to raise a family I don't necessarily believe in marriage in some of it's traditional senses. Mostly I do not believe in any base implications of marriage such as monogamy. I am poly amorous in my beliefs as I see no reason one can't be close to more than one person nor do I feel it useful to limit sexual relations any more than any human interaction, both spread disease.

As biologically it does take a male and female for our species to reproduce, I would like to get together with a female to raise children who are our biological offspring. At the same time, I would be perfectly fine working together to raise her offspring or other people's offspring even potentially as if they were my own.

I think people need to learn to be offended less and have no problem with swearing, it's just words and I think people get too uptight about things. I think the naked body is nothing that needs to be scorned or hidden. I'm all for getting rid of laws that say one must be covered in public. I like to hike naked when I can.
